This Pioneer Adventurer adult tandem mountain bike is an ideal cycle for couples or friends who prefer to share the experience of a cycle ride. Constructed from butted oversize 6061 Airlite aluminium lightweight tubing, the Adventurer features Shimano 24 speed super slick S.T.I. button gears and powerful huge 203mm cable actuated disc brakes which provide precise control in even the worst of conditions. Comfortable riser handlebars fitted for captain and stoker, with an adjustable length stem for the stoker, 2.3" wide semi-slick tyres and 2 trekking comfort saddles make for a more comfortable ride than the average tandem. The sturdy double wall 26" wheels keep the centre of gravity low for improved stability, while the eccentric bottom bracket makes for easy chain tension adjustment.
