For Sale: Vintage Jack Taylor Tandem Model "531"

Factory painted frame in red, Jack Taylor tandem, 50th year anniversary decals. Frame; Reynolds “531” butted steel tube with Cinelli 65-42 handlebar mounting and Reynolds leather seats saddle bag & cycle stand.

The tandem belonged to my late brother Dr Anthony White. Consultant Psychiatrist at Durham County Hospital.Tragically, on 2nd January 1998 while cycling between hospitals to see patients Anthony was run down by a careless driver and killed.

Since that time Anthony’s wife very kindly allowed me to use the tandem but due to health considerations I no longer ride it, have reluctantly decided to sell it.

My dear brother was highly regarded by his patients and supported St Margarets, Centre in Durham. St Margarets is an activity hub for adults needing mental welfare support in County Durham.

I’ll pay to price match the selling price and arrange for total sum to be donated in my late brother’s name to St Margarets: registered charity Nr 1160900
