Bike has been through the wars (literally) but has had a light restoration to get it rolling.

Ideal for vintage rides, a rare bike.

Very rare vintage tandem - please note collection only, no couriers. 

please only bid if you can pick up, its a tandem so estate or van would be pretty useful! 

Its l'eroica/eroica ready, not sure you will see many of these bikes out on any vintage ride. 

I think it is a 1937 T94 BSA Ladyback model.

Ladyback for the ease of the lady stoker getting her leg over..... 

BSA stopped making them due to some bloke called Hitler and never made them again after the war. It could be a few years older but they definitely stopped making these around the start of the WWII. 

Condition - its been well used!! I have done a basic restoration. Riding it is 'interesting' one brake is ok, the other not so much. it did have 3 gears originally but it was 'converted' to single speed many years ago. I didn't want to lose the patina and it looks great ( in my opinion). 

Im selling it for a few reasons. one is I struggle with garage space (getting in to my garage), Im not doing eroica this year, and I need funds for a new road bike. I don't really want it to go but Its a means to an end.
