Three tandems for sale.  I need to clear the shed!

Having a shed clear-out and three tandems need to go to new homes as our riding has changed  Pedals excluded. Offers considered on all three.

Viewing and collection from Hampshire. I also travel up to London regularly, so happy to arrange handover there too.

1. Bob Jackson 853 custom (S&S couplers): £1,600 ono

  • 853 frame and forks, S&S couplers for travel/storage
  • 700c wheels

  • Stoker: 58cm ETT, 45cm ST

3. 18Bikes custom Rohloff tandem, 29+: £1,600 ono

A capable off-road tandem, built to spec by 18Bikes from mixed tubesets including Reynolds 853 in the front triangle.

  • Frame: 17"/14.5" (Captain M / Stoker S), very flexible sizing, suits a couple or parent/child
  • 2Souls sliding dropouts, Rohloff-specific LH dropout, no hanger on RH side
  • Phil Wood eccentric BB up front; internal dropper post guides front and rear
  • Fork: Manitou Magnum 29+, 120mm travel
  • Wheels: Halo Vapour 50 front (29x3.0 DHR tyre), Rohloff hub on Halo Vapour 35 rear (Vittoria Mezcal 2.6 tyre), plenty of frame clearance
  • Rohloff hub owned long-term, regularly serviced, now on a splined sprocket with internals uprated for tandem use
  • Brakes: Magura Gustav M with Goodridge hoses, 200mm front rotor, 190mm rear
  • Chainset: Raceface Aeffect, direct-mount front ring, spider rear, Shimano BBs
  • Raceface bars/stem; captain seatpost is a Thomson 400mm (currently running a different post, Thomson will be supplied); stoker USE suspension seatpost
